The investment fund SMERemediumCap (SMERC) announces the acquisition of a majority equity stake, alongside a simultaneous share capital increase, in Plakentia Veterinary S.A. (“Plakentia”), owned by Ignatios Liapis, a distinguished veterinarian and founder of Plakentia Veterinary Clinic, one of the largest and most advanced providers of veterinary services for companion animals in Greece.
